I had a four-day weekend starting March 20 so I went to Green Island. Located 33km southeast from Taitung,Taiwan Green Island is an excellent spot for hiking and snorekling but lacks sandy-beaches. Green Islands 'claim to fame' would be that it is home to Chaojih Hot Spring. Apparently, it is one of three known seawater hot springs in the world. The others being located at Mt. Vesuvius, Italy and Hokkaido Island, Japan. I made sure to spend a few hours each evening enjoying the natural pools on the beach. Well, that's it. Hope you enjoy the photos.
